NEW MIRANDA

Sorry I've been away for a few days...really busy in my world.

Several things have happened since I've been away.

#1-Taylor Swift...saw her in Tulsa Sunday night. Wow. She really is a Superstar. I must admit I don't always relate to the songs...but there are plenty of teens that do. The show is just incredible. Catch this show if you can...and take your kid...they'll thank you.

#2-Miranda Lambert...new CD "Revolution" out today. This is a must have for your country music collection. From her latest single "White Liar" to her rock side with "Maintain the Pain"...from start to finish this is a great listen. Not sure I've enjoyed a CD this much since Jamey Johnson's "That Lonesome Song".

CMA NOMINEES ARE IN

CMA Nominees: Entertainer of the Year

Kenny Chesney
Kenny Chesney has won seven CMA awards in his career, including four Entertainer of the Year awards (2004, 2006-2008), which ties him with Garth Brooks as the artists with the most wins in this category. Kenny won the Musical Event of the Year category in 2007 for the song "Find Out Who Your Friends Are," which he performed with Tracy Lawrence and Tim McGraw.

Brad Paisley
Paisley will co-host the CMA Awards with Carrie Underwood for the second consecutive year. Paisley, the reigning Male Vocalist of the Year, has won 11 CMA awards in his career, including Male Vocalist (2007, 2008); Album (2006 for Time Well Wasted); and Horizon (now known as the New Talent of the Year award) in 2000.
